Between Death & Difficulty
We were contacted about a property on Godfrey St. The Seller was at his wits end, his father passed leaving him this home and land to manage. He understood the value of owning real estate and wanted initially to hold on to it as an investment. He found tenants and that is where the headache began. Having no prior experience the gentleman was left navigating property management on his own. The tenants began abusing the property and he didn’t have the liquid capital to make repairs. It ignited a nasty battle between landlord & tenant. If you cause the problem…why should he have to make the repairs? A very logical argument.
Clearing the air.
Funny thing about perception is it is always skewed. We think we know what we know based on the outward facts. While most people won’t understand the need for a “cash for keys” situation we have experienced it ourselves and our background in real estate has led us to see what most “typical” agents fail to see…sometimes you feel like you are drowning and there isn’t a lifeline in sight. The stack against you is too high and you have to decide to shoot your left foot or your right…which let’s be frank you don’t win period and nothing actually gets solved you continue to perpetuate a violent financial deficit.
